St. Croix Tribal Constitution & By-Law Revisions

Dear Tribal Membership, please find attached the proposed revisions of the Constitution and By-Laws which incorporates proposed language updates by the BIA. The original language will appear in black with the revisions in blue.

St. Croix Tribal Police K-9

The St. Croix Tribal Police Department will be adding one K9 to their unit. Luna will be joining the department early next month after she and her new handler go through rigorous training. Luna is a 18 month old German Shepard. Her mother works for the Minnesota Department of Corrections. like her mother, Luna can track lost people, do article searches finding weapons used from a crime scene and detect narcotics. Tribe’s Family Code Revision

The St. Croix Chippewa Indians of Wisconsin Tribal Council has reviewed and requests comments from the Tribal Membership for the proposed changes to the Tribe’s Family Code. The proposed revisions are a collaborative effort from the Legal Department, Indian Child Welfare Department, and the Tribal Court. Round Lake Clinic Closure Feb 8th

Round Lake will be closed on Tuesday Feb 8th.  It is taking longer to get all the flooring replaced in the clinic. We are sorry for the inconvenience but we hope be back open on Thursday Feb 10th with all new floors.
