PHARMACY HOURS: Monday – Thursday 8am – 4pm
Friday 8am – Noon

The St. Croix Tribal Pharmacy provides many services to its patients. The first and most important is interpretation and accurate filling of the doctor’s prescription.

During the process of filling prescriptions, the pharmacy performs several important steps to insure patient safety. They check all new prescriptions to ensure that new medication does not interact with any current medications that are filled for the patient. Second, the pharmacy checks for duplicates in drug therapies. The pharmacy will inform the patient of any problems that it identifies. In the rare case that there is a problem, the pharmacy will contact the patient’s doctor to correct. These steps are necessary for the health and healing of patients and cannot be rushed or overlooked. Please allow extra time when ordering prescriptions to enable our staff to complete these important safeguards.

If your prescription has no refills please contact us 3-4 business days before you run-out of medication. We will send a refill request to your doctor for you.

Patient Involvement with Medications

We encourage you to ask any questions you have about your medications. Your involvement and knowledge of your drug therapy is very important. We will provide both verbal and written information to you about your prescription. If there is anything you don’t understand, ask. We will do all we can to help you be an informed patient.
