TRIBAL ELDER FOOD BOX PROGRAM

There will be free distributions of local, traditional foods to tribal elders July-December 2022. Please bring your Tribal ID to pick up your free food box! Each box contains proteins, produce, and shelf-stable items that are sourced from Indigenous and non-Indigenous local producers. The food will represent traditional foods whenever possible. The boxes average 20 lbs and are free to a Tribal Elder with Tribal ID.

The project is funded by Feeding Wisconsin’s Wisconsin Department of Agriculture, Trade, and Consumer Protection ARPA grant and a Feeding American National grant.

Distribution locations include Danbury, Maple Plain, and Round Lake Community Centers and the St. Croix Tribal Health Clinic. Dates for distribution are July 14^th, August 11^th, September 8^th, October 13^th, November 17^th, and December 15^th. Please contact your Community Coordinator or the Tribal Clinic for additional information.
