The St. Croix Tribal Council serves as the governing body of our Nation, entrusted with protecting sovereignty, upholding our constitution, and ensuring the well-being of every Tribal member.

The five-member team is elected by popular vote to serve four-year, staggered terms.

Elections are the foundation of our self-governance. Learn about upcoming election dates, eligibility, and how to get involved.

Meeting & Event Schedule

The Tribal Council assembles on the first Monday of the month. In the event of a holiday, the Tribal Council will assemble on the first Tuesday of the month. The meetings are open to all enrolled members and will be noticed at least five (5) business days prior to the meeting. Special meetings may be called as needed to address important matters and will be noticed as soon as possible.

These gatherings—along with other community events—are open to Tribal members, offering a space to share ideas, stay informed, and strengthen our connection as a Nation.
