Empowering Tribal Well-Being Through Support and Resources
Economic Support Services offers vital programs—including food distribution, household assistance, and member support—to strengthen Tribal households, enhance wellness, and uplift community members.
Food Distribution
Provides surplus food to eligible Native Americans in the Tribal community and surrounding counties.
Member Assistance
Administers programs like General Welfare for Elders and Interstate assistance, available by Tribal Council authority.
Family & Household Assistance
WIC (Women, Infants and Children) Program
The purpose of the Special Supplemental Nutrition Program for Women, Infants and Children (WIC) is to promote and maintain the health and well-being of nutritionally at-risk pregnant, breastfeeding and postpartum women, infants and children.
WIC provides nutrition education, breastfeeding education and support, supplemental nutritious foods, and referrals to other healthy and nutrition services.
St. Croix Tribal Child Care Assistance Program “CCDF”
The St. Croix Tribal Child Care Assistance Program works with low-income families and child care providers to meet the child care needs of working tribal families.
CCDF is a federal program that provides States, Indian tribes, and territories with funding to help low-income families access child care for their children through certificates, grants, or contracts.
