  • St. Croix Tribal Tax Commissioner

    Tribal Government

    The St. Croix Tribal Tax Commissioner is responsible for ensuring that St. Croix Tribal Members and various governmental departments are provided the opportunities unique to sovereign nations and their tax-exempt status.  This includes working with tribal members and other departments towards understanding, applying, and receiving services tax free. The Tax Commissioner will also ensure that tax code is enforced at all properties and on any construction projects.

    Tribal Clinic

    The Family Medicine Clinician provides comprehensive, culturally-appropriate, patient-centered primary care services to eligible patients of the St. Croix Tribal Health Division in accordance with professional standards, organizational policies, and applicable Indian Health Service (IHS) guidelines.

  • Patient Access Representative/Patient Registration

    Tribal Clinic

    The Patient Access Representative is responsible for greeting, registering and scheduling patients as well as verifying all patient information and insurance details. Patient Registration also collects co-pays, answer calls, triages non-clinical needs, and pages medical employees as needed. This position will require travel to the Round Lake Clinic for staffing coverage with set schedule varying between 7:30 AM – 4:30 PM depending on staffing needs.

  • Finance Assistant

    Tribal Clinic

    The Finance Assistant provides administrative, transaction-processing, purchasing, travel, and financial documentation support for the St. Croix Tribal Health Clinic and Health Division. This position supports the daily flow of financial activity by collecting and organizing source documentation, preparing routine financial paperwork, assisting with purchasing and approved travel arrangements, performing approved accounting data entry, maintaining financial records, and supporting cash receipt and deposit processes. The position works closely with the Finance Operations Coordinator and Senior Accountant and is expected to assume increasing responsibility as knowledge and experience are gained.

  • Senior Accountant

    The Senior Accountant performs professional accounting, budget monitoring, grant accounting, reconciliation, analysis, and financial reporting for the St. Croix Tribal Health Clinic and Health Division. Working under the direction of the Chief Financial Officer, the position independently carries out established accounting processes and applies accepted accounting principles and organizational procedures to recurring and moderately difficult assignments. The Senior Accountant prepares financial information, projections, budget-to-actual analysis, and supporting schedules for CFO and management review. The position also supports accounting for grant activity and healthcare revenue and coordinates financial information requested for specialized FQHC cost reporting, reimbursement, audits, and related consulting services.

    Position Summary:
    Under the direction of the Ganawenindiwag Program Manager, the Domestic Violence/Sexual Assault Advocate provides confidential, trauma-informed, survivor-centered, and culturally responsive advocacy services to individuals affected by domestic violence, sexual assault, dating violence, stalking, human trafficking, and other forms of interpersonal violence.
    The Advocate partners with survivors to promote safety, healing, empowerment, and self-determination by providing crisis intervention, advocacy, safety planning, systems navigation, referrals, culturally grounded healing opportunities, and coordination of wraparound services. The Advocate works collaboratively with Tribal departments, community agencies, healthcare providers, law enforcement, legal systems, and community partners to ensure survivors have equitable access to resources while maintaining the highest standards of confidentiality and professional ethics.

  • SCCHA Maintenance Supervisor

    Position Summary: The Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the SCCHA Maintenance Department, including supervision of maintenance staff, work orders, preventive maintenance, buildings, grounds, equipment, and inventory. The position also oversees rehabilitation, modernization, and new development projects, including planning, procurement, contracts, budgets, and contractor coordination. This is a newly restructured position combining maintenance supervision and modernization responsibilities.     The St. Croix Chippewa Indians of Wisconsin is seeking Tribal Members interested in serving on the Forgiveness Committee established under Title 3, Chapter 2 Forgiveness Ordinance.
    The Committee reviews requests for forgiveness involving certain restrictions or ineligibilities related to Tribal employment, housing, occupational licenses, certifications or permits issued by the Tribe, other Tribal benefits, and banishment from Tribal territory. The Committee consists of at least three (3) Tribal Members and must have an odd number of members.
