Our Mission:
In the St. Croix Tribal Indian Child Welfare Department, our mission is to protect and nurture the well-being of our children, families, and communities. We are committed to upholding ourselves to the highest standard in the work we do, led by the Seven Grandfather Teachings as a moral stepping ground and cultural foundation that remains forefront of each day. Every step we walk is guided by the wisdom necessary to make decisions that honor the past and prepare for the future. It is through love and respect that we strengthen family bonds and cultural identity. With bravery, we stand for what is right - with safety and wellbeing always top priority; with honesty, we act with integrity; with humility, we serve without self-interest; and with truth, we walk in balance with all relations - to help lead in a good way, to mino-bimaadiziwin (the good life).

Coordinated Service Team
Wraparound services to develop a comprehensive, individualized system of care for children who are involved in multiple systems of care such as mental health, substance abuse, child welfare, juvenile justice, special education, or developmental disabilities. CST is a group that includes family members, service providers, and others that work to design and carry out a coordinated service plan that addresses the need of the child and family with community-based supports for a child, which allows the child to live in their home and community realizing their hopes and dreams.
