Education: Building Knowledge for Our Future
Our education department is dedicated to fostering learning and growth within the St. Croix Chippewa community. We aim to provide resources and support that empower our youth and adults alike.
Our Mission
Support Native American youth, families, and individuals in reaching their goals by addressing their unique academic, cultural, and language needs throughout their life-long educational journey in the K-12, higher education, and community setting.
Provide youth with the experiences and resources necessary to become well educated, successful, socially responsive, and culturally enriched adults while providing pathways to higher education and careers.
Mitigate barriers and advocate for Native American youth, families and individuals within the school districts we serve and in higher education institutions where tribal students attend.
Promote family involvement and parent participation to foster success, fulfillment, and wellness for youth.
Increase equity for students and inclusion of Native American culture, history, and language in schools, community serving organizations, and higher education institutions through collaboration, promotion of culturally responsive teaching, and professional development.
